Magdalen Park Vth Team rocked by drugs scandal
Rumours abound that one of the Vth team's top stars is caught up in unpleasant drugs allegations. Looking at the team, it is hard to imagine whom - but one name stands out from the crowd: Paulo Schmetzer.
Schmetzer denied the claims: "I have never been able to get my hands on performance-enhancing drugs. I am as clean as I was the day I was born." Schmetzer has been spending quality time with his family and practising his first love - tennis.
"He does have rather robust thighs," said one colleague. "But I'd be astonished if he could afford that kind of chemical assistance."
